Verb. To break wind from the anus. Originally s.e. from 1250s, but deemed slang from 1800s. Cf. 'fanny fart'.
Noun. 1. The gas expelled due to anal flatulence.
2. An unpleasant and objectionable person. Cf. 'old fart'.
